Annual meeting of the American Society of Preventive Oncology

On March 12 and 13 of this year, the Roosevelt Hotel will be the site of the annual meeting of the American Society of Preventive Oncology, the leading society for the study of the causes and prevention of cancer. Many investigators and staff will be participating in this year's meeting, including the ASPO's current president, Dr. Al Neugut, and Dr. I. Bernard Weinstein, former Director of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, who will be the recipient of this year's Distinguished Achievement Award. Drs. Neugut and Weinstein will give major talks at the meeting, as will Dr. Andrew Dannenberg, who will give a breakfast seminar on chemoprevention with COX-2 inhibitors.
