Dr. Weinstein to Deliver ACS Prize Lecture

It was recently announced that Dr. I. Bernard Weinstein, former Director of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, will deliver this year’s American Cancer Society’s prize lecture at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research in New Orleans.

This honor recognizes Dr. Weinstein’s achievements in the area of cancer prevention and control, and highlights his seminal contributions in the founding of the field of molecular epidemiology.

Coincidentally, Dr. Weinstein will receive this year’s distinguished achievement award at the annual meeting of the American Society of Preventive Oncology, to be held in March at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.

The Columbia Weill Cornell Cancer Centers congratulate Dr. Weinstein on his achievements.
